Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay tried to remain upbeat, despite his side conceding a late equaliser to draw 2-2 with Coventry City.
Peter Whittingham's strike looked to have won it for the Bluebirds, but Oliver Norwood's last-gasp goal earned the struggling Sky Blues a point.
"We are disappointed with the late goal and the fact we have lost three points with 30 seconds to go," said Mackay.
"Coventry are a team who have only been beaten once in eight games so they have a resilience. They are fighting for their lives, but we have to cut out the errors.
"We are one point outside the playoffs at the moment, but we have only lost one game in five now. There were a lot of good parts in our play - there is no fear factor."
Cardiff next travel to fellow promotion hopefuls Birmingham City on Sunday.
