Cardiff City boss Russell Slade has insisted that he is not disappointed in his team following their 1-0 defeat to Millwall in the Championship.
Slade lost his first match since taking charge of the Bluebirds on Saturday as they were narrowly beaten at The Den.
However, the 54-year-old is confident that his players will learn from the result and get back to winning ways quickly.
"I'm not downhearted," he is quoted as saying by Wales Online. "We did things I'd not seen before. We need a positive reaction then particularly away from home. But I learned about my team. I've learned about my players in game situations and particularly away from home.
"But we will improve on this. We will get better, I don't doubt that. They are working hard and making forward steps and that's pleasing."
Cardiff are back in Championship action next Saturday when they entertain Leeds United.
