Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Major League Soccer fixtures, including New York Red Bulls vs. New England Revolution.

Charlotte FC vs. NY City (Saturday, 6.00pm)

Aiming to avoid a fourth Major League Soccer defeat on the bounce, Charlotte FC welcome New York City FC to the Bank of America on Saturday.

On the other hand, the away side make the journey looking to end a barren run which has seen them fail to win any of their most recent four matches.

We say: Charlotte FC 1-1 New York City FC

Off the back of a dismal run of results for both teams, we expected a keenly-contested affair with the sides going for all three points. That said, we are also backing a share of the spoils with honours even at the end of the 90 minutes.

Nashville vs. LA Galaxy (Saturday, 8.30pm)

Seeking to pick up a fifth win on the bounce in the MLS, Nashville SC go head to head with Los Angeles Galaxy at the GEODIS Park on Saturday.

The visitors, who are currently on a run of two consecutive draws, will head into the weekend looking to return to winning ways and move into the playoffs places.

We say: Nashville SC 2-1 Los Angeles Galaxy

Nashville are currently firing on all cylinders in the MLS and will head into the weekend seeking a fifth win on the bounce. Smith's men take on a Los Angeles Galaxy side who have lost four and picked up two wins from their last seven away games and we are backing the Texas outfit to come away with all three points once again.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

NY Red Bulls vs. New England (Saturday, 11.00pm)

Old rivals face off for the final time in the 2022 MLS regular season as the New York Red Bulls wrap up a two-game homestand on Saturday when they host the New England Revolution.

New York have captured only one of their last seven matches in all competitions at Red Bull Arena, while the Revs ended a four-match losing run last Sunday, defeating New York City FC 3-0.

We say: New York Red Bulls 0-2 New England Revolution

In a short period, Petrovic has made fans of the New England Revolution forget about all-star goalkeeper Matt Turner, who stole numerous matches for them in 2021.

The Serbian is in a groove, and given his form, combined with the fact that the Red Bulls rarely take chances going forward, we expect him to stand tall and give his side another valuable three points.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Atlanta vs. Toronto (Sunday, 12.30am)

The MLS playoff hopes of Atlanta United and Toronto are hanging by a thread as both sides meet on Saturday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in a critical match for each team.

Atlanta have lost two in a row, currently trailing FC Cincinnati for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference by six points, while the Reds are just a point ahead of the Five Stripes but have played one more game.

We say: Atlanta United 1-3 Toronto

Making the playoffs for both of these sides will be a long shot regardless of how this match ends up, though Toronto look consistently potent at the moment, showing a lot more quality in the final third than their opponents.

Combine that with the off-field distractions plaguing Atlanta, and it is hard to envision them playing with the kind of focus you need in a match like this, not to mention trying to shut down an in form Toronto attack.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Cincinnati vs. Earthquakes (Sunday, 12.30am)

Currently in the middle of a heated playoff battle in the Eastern Conference of Major League Soccer, FC Cincinnati return to TQL Stadium with a chance to extend their home unbeaten run to 10 straight games when they face the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday.

Cincy temporarily moved into the last playoff position by drawing New York City FC 1-1 in midweek, while the Quakes have won two of their previous three fixtures after defeating the Vancouver Whitecaps 2-0.

We say: FC Cincinnati 4-2 San Jose Earthquakes

Both teams play aggressively with plenty of attacking intent, so we expect they will each have their share of scoring opportunities and be able to find the back of the net, given the calibre of strikers each team possesses.

The Orange and Blue have been more consistent this year and have a little more attacking depth than their opponents, which should compensate for their defensive deficiencies.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Philadelphia vs. Orlando City (Sunday, 12.30am)

MLS Eastern Conference leaders Philadelphia Union will look to claim a fifth consecutive victory when they play host to Orlando City on Saturday.

The visitors also enter the contest in impressive form after a fifth straight win in all competitions helped them lift the US Open Cup in midweek.

We say: Philadelphia Union 3-1 Orlando City

Although Orlando have won their last five games, we think that their winning run will come to an end when they face a Philadelphia side who are looking to clinch an eighth consecutive home victory.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Chicago Fire vs. Inter Miami (Sunday, 1.00am)

Chicago Fire will look to end a five-game winless run when they welcome Inter Miami to the Soldier Field on Saturday.

The visitors, meanwhile, are hoping to avoid a third consecutive defeat as they bid to get their playoff bid back on track.

We say: Chicago Fire 2-2 Inter Miami

Although Inter Miami will be desperate to claim all three points to help their playoff push, their away form this season suggests that winning on Saturday could prove difficult, and we think that the visitors will have to settle for a point.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Seattle vs. Austin (Sunday, 1.00am)

It is nearing desperation time for the Seattle Sounders, who find themselves six points behind the Western Conference playoff line when they host Austin FC on Saturday at Lumen Field.

The Rave Green, who have never missed the MLS Cup playoffs, ended a five-match losing run last Sunday, beating the Houston Dynamo 2-1, while Austin have lost three of their previous four games, dropping a 3-0 decision to Nashville SC last weekend.

We say: Seattle Sounders 1-2 Austin FC

For whatever reason, the Sounders have not been nearly as sharp or consistent at Lumen Field in 2022, losing five home matches this season, and one comeback victory is not enough to convince us that this team have resolved all of their issues.

Keeping Driussi off the scoresheet for one game is quite an achievement given his form throughout the campaign, but he and his Austin teammates are rarely held in check for an extended period.

Dallas vs. Los Angeles (Sunday, 1.30am)

Western Conference leaders will attempt to clinch consecutive victories when they travel to the Toyota Stadium to face Dallas.

The hosts, who sit 14 points adrift of their opponents in third place, are looking to extend their unbeaten home run to six matches.

We say: Dallas 2-2 Los Angeles FC

Dallas are currently unbeaten in their last five home games, and we think that they will utilise home advantage to hold the Western Conference leaders to a draw.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Houston vs. Kansas (Sunday, 1.30am)

Two sides who are set to finish the season outside the playoffs will face off on Saturday when Houston Dynamo play host to Sporting Kansas City.

The home side are bottom of the Western Conference, while the visitors are just two places higher in 12th position.

We say: Houston Dynamo 1-1 Sporting Kansas City

Although Sporting Kansas City are unbeaten in their last three matches, they are also winless in their previous four away games, and we think that they will have to settle for a point against a struggling Houston Dynamo side.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Colorado vs. Vancouver (Sunday, 2.30am)

With only five games remaining in their Major League Soccer regular season, winning the rest of the way is imperative for both the Colorado Rapids and Vancouver Whitecaps, who will face each other on Saturday at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.

These two playoff teams from 2021 are in danger of missing the postseason this year, as the Burgundy Boys are winless in six straight matches, nine points behind the Western Conference playoff line, while Vancouver have eight points to make up after dropping a 2-0 decision to the San Jose Earthquakes last week.

We say: Colorado Rapids 1-1 Vancouver Whitecaps

Psychologically, both of these teams have looked defeated over the past couple of weeks, and while there is a mathematical chance they can each still make the postseason, these teams struggle with consistency and quality, so we do not expect much more than a stalemate on Saturday.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Salt Lake vs. DC United (Sunday, 2.30am)

Real Salt Lake will look to edge closer to securing a playoff place when they play host to DC United on Saturday.

The visitors, meanwhile, are currently bottom of the Eastern Conference, but they will be aiming to finish the season with a positive run of results.

We say: Real Salt Lake 2-1 DC United

Although DC United have avoided defeat in their last two games, we think that they will be beaten by a Real Salt Lake side who are looking to claim consecutive home victories.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Portland vs. Minnesota Utd (Sunday, 3.00am)

The Portland Timbers can do themselves a world of good in their playoff quest as they host Minnesota United at Providence Park on Saturday.

Coming into this match, Portland are clinging to the final postseason position in the Western Conference of Major League Soccer, sitting only two points behind the Loons for fifth.

We say: Portland Timbers 2-1 Minnesota United

The status of Reynoso will be a major storyline heading into this encounter, but whether he plays or not, we would still back Portland to win this match, given the momentum they have heading into this weekend along with their ability to consistently elevate their play at the most opportune of moments.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
