Western Conference leaders will attempt to clinch consecutive victories when they travel to the Toyota Stadium to face Dallas.

The hosts, who sit 14 points adrift of their opponents in third place, are looking to extend their unbeaten home run to six matches.

Match preview

Dallas are currently seven points better off than eighth-placed LA Galaxy - who have two games in hand - and Saturday's hosts can inch closer to a playoff place with a win against Los Angeles FC.

The hosts head into their final four games in promising form after losing just one of their previous six games, with three wins occurring in that period.

Their latest victory took place last week when they cruised to a comfortable 3-0 victory away to Minnesota United.

A Michael Boxall own goal opened the scoring in the second half, and within three minutes, Alan Velasco and Jesus Ferreira both found the net to wrap up a comprehensive win.

After winning on their travels last time out, Dallas will turn their attention to Saturday's contest at the Toyota Stadium where they have avoided defeat in their last five matches.

Meanwhile, LAFC are on course to finish top of the Western Conference with nine points separating them from second-placed Austin FC.

Despite looking to be on course to clinch first place, LAFC entered last weekend's encounter with Real Salt Lake off the back of three consecutive away defeats.

Ryan Hollingshead opened the scoring against Real Salt Lake in the 48th minute before Cristian Arango wrapped up the three points with just over 20 minutes to spare.

The result represented an eighth consecutive home victory for LAFC, who have also kept a clean sheet for three straight home games.

After losing their last three away matches, Steve Cherundolo will be looking for a positive result on their travels this weekend when they face a Dallas side who they have beaten in their previous three meetings.

Team News

Dallas have no reported injury concerns ahead of Saturday's contest where they could opt to name an unchanged lineup.

Nkosi Tafari will partner Jose Antonio Martinez in central defence, with the hosts looking to keep consecutive clean sheets.

After scoring a goal apiece last weekend, Velasco and Ferreira will offer a goal threat for Dallas as well as Paul Arriola who will also feature in the front three.

As for the visitors, Julian Gaines and Erik Duenas are expected to miss out for the hosts due to injury issues.

Carlos Vela dropped out of the side last weekend, but the Mexico international could return to the starting lineup on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Arango will continue in the frontline, with the forward looking to find the net for the fourth consecutive game.

Dallas possible starting lineup:
Paes; Twumasi, Tafari, Martinez, Farfan; Lletget, Cerrillo, Pomykal; Arriola, Velasco, Ferreira

Los Angeles FC possible starting lineup:
Crepeau; Hollingshead, Murillo, Chiellini, Palacios; Cifuentes, Sanchez, Blessing; Vela, Opoku, Arango

We say: Dallas 2-2 Los Angeles FC

Dallas are currently unbeaten in their last five home games, and we think that they will utilise home advantage to hold the Western Conference leaders to a draw.
