Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Chelsea could line up for Thursday's Europa Conference League playoff clash against Servette.

Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca could hand as many as five new signings their full debuts in Thursday's Europa Conference League playoff first-leg tie with Servette at Stamford Bridge.

Captain Reece James is still recovering from a hamstring injury, but he has been included in Chelsea's 22-man 'A' list squad to face Servette along with Marc Cucurella, who was taken off in the closing stages of last weekend's 2-0 Premier League loss to Manchester City with an apparent knee problem.

Three notable omissions from Chelsea's squad are Wesley Fofana, Ben Chilwell and Raheem Sterling, the latter two were also absent against Man City and are facing uncertain futures at Stamford Bridge. Joao Felix, meanwhile, will also not be involved after his return to Chelsea was only confirmed on Wednesday.

Maresca is expected to make changes to his starting lineup and could give each of Filip Jorgensen, Tosin Adarabioyo, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Pedro Neto and Marc Guiu their first starts for the club, the former of whom is hoping to replace Robert Sanchez in goal.

Tosin is one of four centre-back options at Maresca's disposal along with Renato Veiga, Benoit Badiashile and Axel Disasi, the latter of whom was not part of the squad against Man City after undergoing a hernia operation over the summer and it remains to be seen whether he will be fit to feature on Thursday.

Dewsbury-Hall came on as a substitute last weekend, but he could force his way into the first XI on Thursday, replacing one of Moises Caicedo, Romeo Lavia or Enzo Fernandez who all started Chelsea's Premier League opener in midfield.

Neto also made a substitute appearance last time out and is now in contention to start for the first time as a Chelsea player on either flank, although he faces competition from Cole Palmer, Christopher Nkunku, Mykhaylo Mudryk and Noni Madueke. Nicolas Jackson, meanwhile, was fit to start against Man City but could be replaced up front by either Nkunku or Guiu against Servette.

Chelsea possible starting lineup: Jorgensen; Gusto, Tosin, Badiashile, Cucurella; Fernandez, Lavia; Palmer, Dewsbury-Hall, Neto; Guiu body check tags ::
