Manchester City team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Chelsea

Sports Mole rounds up all of Manchester City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their FA Cup semi-final with Chelsea on Saturday.
Sports Mole

Having sealed their place in the semi-finals of the Champions League, Manchester City take on fellow final four contenders Chelsea in the semi-finals of the FA Cup at Wembley on Saturday evening.

Pep Guardiola's team beat Borussia Dortmund 2-1 home and away to end their quarter-final hoodoo in the Champions League, with Phil Foden netting the winner in both legs as City secured a 4-2 aggregate triumph over the Bundesliga giants.

The quadruple dream is still very much alive for Guardiola, and he has very few selection concerns to contend with, but City were knocked out of this stage in the 2019-20 FA Cup to eventual winners Arsenal.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Man City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the semi-final.

Sergio Aguero

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Muscular
Possible return date: April 17 (vs. Chelsea)

Soon-to-be free agent Sergio Aguero has suffered yet another injury blow after missing the second leg with Borussia Dortmund due to "niggles", and the Argentine has not been able to participate in training recently, so a Wembley comeback is unlikely.

MAN CITY'S SUSPENSION LIST

City have no players suspended for the semi-final.
