How Chelsea could line up against Tottenham Hotspur

Ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash between Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea at Wembley Stadium, Sports Mole looks at how the visitors could line up.

Chelsea will be aiming to extend their unbeaten Premier League start under Maurizio Sarri to 13 matches when they take on Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley Stadium on Saturday evening.

The Blues have yet to taste defeat under the Italian, though a goalless draw with Everton in their most recent outing halted their momentum somewhat.

Up next is a tough test against an in-form Tottenham side, as Chelsea look to hold off a team sitting just one point and one place below them in the table.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how the visitors could line up at the national stadium this weekend.

Out: Ethan Ampadu (knock)
Doubtful: Mateo Kovacic (muscular)

The only real fitness concern for Sarri ahead of his side's return to action is Kovacic, who is suffering from a muscular problem.

Kovacic appears likely to start the game on the bench at best, which could mean another start for Ross Barkley in the middle of the park, alongside regulars N'Golo Kante and Jorginho.

Wales international Ampadu is a confirmed absentee, meanwhile, but the youngster has yet to feature under Sarri and was never likely to come into consideration this weekend.

This Chelsea side pretty much picks itself at the moment, though there is a big call to make in the centre-forward position as Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud - on the scoresheet for world champions France in midweek - are both pushing for selection.

Morata returned to form with three goals in three games, only to fire a blank when given the nod against Everton a fortnight ago, so it may well be Giroud's turn to lead the line once again, flanked by Willian and Eden Hazard.
