Sports Mole rounds up Chelsea's injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League clash with Southampton on Saturday.

Chelsea will be looking to end their four-game winless run when they welcome managerless Southampton to Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Saturday.

After drawing three consecutive top-flight fixtures against Liverpool, Fulham and West Ham United, the Blues suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat against Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie on Wednesday.

Graham Potter's side, who have won only three of their last 16 games across all competitions, will be hoping to turn their fortunes around against another struggling side in the form of Southampton, who sit rock bottom of the Premier League and are without a manager after sacking Nathan Jones last weekend.

Ahead of this must-win contest for both teams, Sports Mole rounds up Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news.

N'Golo Kante

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: March 4 (vs. Leeds United)

N'Golo Kante, who has not played since August, remains sidelined with a troublesome hamstring injury, but the midfielder is hoping to recover in time for the start of next month.

Christian Pulisic

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: March 4 (vs. Leeds United)

Christian Pulisic has missed Chelsea's last seven games in all competitions after sustaining a knee injury at the beginning of last month and the American winger is not expected to return until next month.

Armando Broja

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Armando Broja sustained an ACL injury during a mid-season friendly against Aston Villa during the World Cup break and the striker is ruled out for the rest of the season.

Edouard Mendy

Status: Out
Type of injury: Finger
Possible return date: Unknown

Edouard Mendy has not played in any competitive match since representing Senegal at the World Cup in December due to a fractured finger, and the goalkeeper is not expected to return any time soon.

Raheem Sterling

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: February 18 (vs. Southampton)

Raheem Sterling has missed the last two matches with a minor knee problem which he sustained in training, and the attacker remains a doubt for Saturday's contest.

Ben Chilwell

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Knock
Possible return date: February 18 (vs. Southampton)

Ben Chilwell was taken off midway through the second half in Chelsea's Champions League defeat at Dortmund with a knock, but the left-back is expected to recover in time for the visit of Southampton.

CHELSEA'S SUSPENSION LIST

Chelsea have no suspended players for this match.
