Chelsea have reportedly reached a decision over the conditions which would need to be met to facilitate the departure of Romelu Lukaku.
After a below-par first campaign back at Stamford Bridge, speculation persists that the forward is keen to secure a return to Inter Milan this summer.
Despite Chelsea agreeing to pay a total of £97.5m for the Belgium international, Inter are no in position to meet that price-tag during the upcoming transfer window.
According to Repubblica, the Premier League giants will instead insist on Inter paying a loan fee of €20m (£17m) for the 2022-23 campaign.
Furthermore, Chelsea will request that Inter accept the mandatory obligation to purchase the 29-year-old for €70m (£59.5m) at the end of the season.
Inter will almost certainly look to reach a compromise over a fee, while Lukaku is said to have changed his representatives in order to try to reach an agreement with his former employers.
