Chelsea 'willing to offload Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech'

Chelsea are ready to sell Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech in order to make room for new signings in attack, according to a report.
Sports Mole

Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech have been made surplus to requirements at Chelsea, according to a report.

Both players moved to Stamford Bridge last year, but have struggled to live up to the hype placed upon them when they arrived.

German striker Werner has scored just 13 goals in 59 appearances, while former Ajax midfielder Ziyech has been limited to only 16 league starts.

According to Fichajes, Thomas Tuchel will place the pair on the transfer list next summer as he goes in search of new attacking options.

The report adds that Napoli winger Lorenzo Insigne is on the Blues' shortlist and that Werner and Ziyech could make way for the Italian.

Chelsea spent over £80m on the two players during Frank Lampard's managerial tenure, but they have seen their gametime reduced by Tuchel.
