Callum Hudson-Odoi is reportedly ready to reject Chelsea's contract offer of £85,000 a week in order to push through a move to Bayern Munich before the end of the month.
Hudson-Odoi, 18, has been strongly linked with a move to Bayern since the start of the January transfer window.
The teenager's current deal with Chelsea will expire at the end of next season, and it was recently reported that the Blues had offered a new contract in the region of £70,000 a week.
According to the Daily Mail, the offer was actually £85,000 a week, but Hudson-Odoi is ready to turn down the Blues in order to hold out for a move to Bayern before the end of the January transfer window.
Hudson-Odoi, who was a late substitute during Chelsea's 2-0 defeat at Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday, has been earmarked as Arjen Robben's long-term successor at Bayern.
Bayern's latest offer for the young Englishman is believed to have been £35m.
