Montreal Impact have left it late to rescue a point against Chicago Fire in this evening's MLS Eastern Conference clash.
It was the Canadian outfit who took the lead in the 25th minute at Toyota Park when David Arnaud played the ball into the feet of Marco Di Vaio, who swept home to register his 19th goal of the season.
However, the hosts drew level in the 56th minute when Alex's deflected shot set up kindly for Mike Magee to nod home from close range.
The 29-year-old forward then notched his second to put his team ahead in the 73rd minute, but Maxim Tissot's first-ever goal in the MLS saw Marco Schallibaum's side earn a point on their travels.
The Fire remain two points off fifth-placed Philadelphia Union and a place in the playoffs, while the Impact remain third.
