Colorado Rapids will be looking to claim back-to-back victories when they play host to Sporting Kansas City on Saturday.
The visitors also have the chance to claim consecutive wins after they squeezed past Houston Dynamo last weekend.
Match preview
Colorado Rapids have experienced an eventful start to the season after their opening two contests ended in 3-0 scorelines.
Their first match resulted in disappointment as a Carlos Vela hat-trick saw Los Angeles FC coast to a 3-0 victory, but the Rapids bounced back last week to dish out a thrashing of their own against Atlanta United.
Diego Rubio gave Colorado a half-time lead before Jonathan Lewis doubled their advantage after the break and Andre Shinyashiki completed the scoring just a minute after Atlanta had been reduced to 10 men.
After claiming their first win of the season last weekend, the Rapids will be looking forward to another home match on Saturday.
With one home victory already under their belt, Colorado will be aiming to replicate last season's form that saw them lose just once at home in the regular season.
Meanwhile, Sporting Kansas City will be looking to claim their first away win of the season when they face Colorado on Saturday.
The Wizards travelled to Atlanta for their season opener, but they came up short against the Five Stripes, falling to a 3-1 defeat.
However, they got their season up and running last weekend as they narrowly edged out Houston Dynamo at Children's Mercy Park.
A cagey first half yielded just one shot on target, but Remi Walter ensured the hosts would claim the three points, with his 60th minute proving to be the winner.
Sporting Kansas City had the third-best away record in the Eastern Conference last term, and Peter Vermes will be hoping his side can collect their first away points of the season on Saturday.

Team News
Aboubakar Keita - who is yet to make his competitive debut for the Rapids - underwent successful surgery for an anterior cruciate ligament injury in the week, with the 21-year-old expected to be out for nine months.
Colorado are also without the services of Braian Galvan, who is another long-term absentee.
Michael Barrios came into the starting lineup for the victory over Atlanta, and he is expected to retain his place in the Colorado front three.
As for the visitors, they are missing Gadi Kinda and Alan Pulido due to injury issues, while Uri Rosell is a doubt with a hamstring problem.
After coming into the starting XI for the Houston Dynamo encounter, Felipe Hernandez is set to keep his place in midfield for Saturday's contest.
Daniel Salloi and Johnny Russell scored 31 goals between them last season, but both players will be looking to find the net on Saturday after failing to score in their opening two matches.
Colorado Rapids possible starting lineup:
Yarbrough; Abubakar, Wilson, Trusty; Rosenberry, Price, Kaye, Esteves; Barrios, Lewis, Rubio
Sporting Kansas City possible starting lineup:
Melia; Zusi, Isimat-Mirin, Fontas, Ndenbe; Walter, Hernandez, Espinoza; Russell, Salloi, Shelton
We say: Colorado Rapids 1-1 Sporting Kansas City
The last two meetings between the sides have finished level, and although both teams will be chasing consecutive victories, we think the respective head coaches will have to be content with a point from Saturday's encounter.
