Coventry City scored on the stroke of half time to lead Bradford City 1-0 at the break in a lively League One clash at the Ricoh Arena this evening.
The visitors were first to threaten as James Meredith's low cross evaded Billy Clarke before landing to James Hanson, but his first-time shot soared over the bar.
Coventry countered through Frank Nouble, who collected Marcus Tudgay's pass before firing an effort that flew wide of target.
Just after the quarter-hour mark, James O'Brien delivered a cross into the area towards Aaron Martin, but his header landed on the roof of the net.
Both sides continued to trade blows to little avail, but just as it seemed like the first half would end goalless, Nouble latched on to Aaron Phillips's ball to poke home from close range.
