A late strike from Fabian Castillo earned Dallas a point in their MLS clash with Chivas USA.
The visitors had a decent start to the game and Mauro Rosales should have done a lot better with a free kick from just outside the area, but he bent his effort just past the post from 20 yards.
Dallas responded to this early threat and created an opening of their own as Michel lifted a cross into the box for Je-Vaughn Watson, but he could only head his effort straight at Dan Kennedy.
The home side went close again as Matt Hedges headed at goal from a corner and Kennedy couldn't handle the effort, but Eric Avila was on the line to clear away the danger.
After the break, Chivas took the lead when Rosales raided down the right and cut the ball back for Marco Delgado in the middle and he fired the ball past Raul Fernandez.
The visitors almost doubled their lead in the 71st minute when Martin Rivero fired a shot at goal from distance and Dallas were grateful to Fernandez as he made a good fingertip save to keep the ball out.
Fernandez's save turned out to be crucial as Dallas found an equaliser in the 83rd minute when Jair Benitez crossed into the area and Castillo was able to divert the ball past Kennedy from close range, to earn his side a point.
