Deportivo Riestra's inconsistency was once again evident as they followed up their victory over Argentinos Juniors with a 2-1 loss to Tigre at Estadio Jose Dellagiovanna.
Daniel Alonso Espinoza gave Blanquinegro an early lead, but goals from Martin Ortega and Eric Ramirez turned the game around, inflicting a fifth defeat of the second phase on Cristian Fabbiani's side.
This result leaves Deportivo in 20th place with nine points from eight matches, although they remain 10 points clear of the relegation zone in the overall table.
Fabbiani's team are back on home soil on Monday, where they have been unbeaten, winning three and drawing one of their four matches, scoring four goals without conceding.
Monday's game will be the first ever meeting between Blanquinegro and their opponents, but they will be hoping to capitalise on their home advantage and their visitors' struggles.
Central Cordoba's woes continued in the second phase as they suffered a 2-0 defeat to Velez Sarsfield at Estadio Alfredo Terrera last Monday.
Despite their opponents playing over an hour with a man down, Lucas Gonzalez's side were unable to capitalise and conceded twice, one in each half.
Sitting bottom of both the second phase table, with one point, and the overall table, with 12 points, El Ferroviario will be eager to claim a victory that could lift them out of the relegation zone, should Tigre fail to win their match.
Cordoba's defensive struggles have been a major issue, having conceded a league-high 20 goals, despite scoring seven times themselves in eight matches.

Centre-Back Sebastian Valdez is also sidelined with a knee injury, and is not expected back in action until later this month.
Deportivo Riestra possible starting lineup:
Arce; Torres, Sansotre, Barrionuevo; Ramirez, Bravo, Celiz, Sanchez, Goitia; Alonso, Herrera
Central Cordoba possible starting lineup:
Ingolotti; Barrios, Laquidain, Abascia, Rivero; Sanchez, Vazquez, Cabrera; Segovia, Godoy, Angulo
We say: Deportivo Riestra 2-0 Central Cordoba
Central Cordoba have endured an abysmal campaign so far, with a porous defence being the main culprit, and this is expected to persist against a Riestra side that have been solid on home turf - which is why we believe that they will prove too strong for the visitors.
