Managerless Caridff City have held Derby County to a goalless first half at the iPro Stadium in the Championship.
The Rams, who have had the better of things in the opening 45 minutes, had a couple of early chances through Chris Martin and Simon Dawkins but both efforts flew wide of the goal.
Will Hughes nearly opened the scoring with a long-range effort, and the goalkeeper David Marshall has come to his side's rescue on a number of occasions.
Jamie Ward went close shortly before the half-hour mark but his strike was well saved by Marshall before Craig Bryson headed wide on 33 minutes.
