Derby County lead Leicester City 1-0 at half time in tonight's League Cup encounter, thanks for Chris Martin.
After a fast start from both sides it was Derby who took control of the match, and they eventually took the lead minutes from the break.
The hosts were almost ahead within a minute, but Kieron Freeman was able to clear Tom Hopper's header off the line.
Immediately after that Derby went up the other end and fashioned a couple of chances of their own. First, Paul Coutts's low drive went just wide, before Jake Buxton had a header also cleared off the line.
Derby then had a couple of penalty shouts turned down as Craig Bryson and then Coutts went down in quick succession, but the referee waved away both claims.
Derby finally turned their dominance into a goal three minutes from time, when Chris Martin tapped the ball home after good work from Johnny Russell on the wing.
