Darren Bent has admitted that his loan move to Derby County has given him a lift following years as an outcast at Aston Villa.
The 31-year-old struggled for first-team action under former Villa boss Paul Lambert, but has scored seven goals in eight appearances for Derby since joining them in January.
"I feel like I've got two years to make up and I'm loving every minute of it," the Daily Star quotes Bent as saying.
"I feel fresh as a daisy because of the lack of proper game time I've had and goals are just the thing any striker needs to give you a spring in your step."
Derby currently have a two-point lead at the top of the Championship table.
