Bristol City's relegation woes have increased with a 3-0 defeat at Derby County in the Championship.

Derby could have taken the lead with five minutes played, but Jamie Ward's penalty was saved by Tom Heaton after Jeff Hendrick had been brought down in the area.

However, the hosts made the breakthrough on 36 minutes as Hendrick's looped effort found the net following some indecision from the City defence.

Ward drilled the ball past Heaton 10 minutes into the second half to extend their advantage before Ben Davies slotted home in injury time.
