Two second-half goals from Chris Martin have given Derby County a 2-0 win over Rangers in a pre-season friendly at the iPro Stadium this afternoon.
Derby put the visitors under pressure early on, but Cammy Bell was alert in the Rangers goal to clear the danger, before Bilel Mohsni kicked it clear.
Having been unable to break the deadlock in the first half, Martin put the home side ahead early in the second half, driving the ball in low for the Championship side.
Will Hughes tried to double their advantage a few minutes later, but Mohsni managed to guide the ball to Bell.
Derby continued to press and doubled their advantage in the 74th minute when Martin squeezed the ball under Bell from out wide.
The Scottish side were reduced to 10 men just two minutes later as Mohsni clashed with the goalscorer off the ball.
There was a chance for Kris Boyd to grab a consolation goal inside the final 10 minutes, but the striker could not turn in time to get his effort away.
