Dynamo Moscow have stretched their 100% record in Group E to four games by securing a 1-0 win over Estoril Praia in the Europa League.
The home side started strongly in the opening stages of the first half as Alexander Buttner forced an early save from the keeper.
Both teams created chances in the first 45 minutes, but neither could find the breakthrough in the European encounter.
The momentum swung in Estoril's favour towards the end of the half and Kleber almost broke the deadlock with an effort on goal, but Vladimir Gabulov made a crucial save to keep proceedings goalless.
After the break, Dynamo came out attacking as they tried to preserve their 100% record, and Buttner had a decent chance to get the opening goal in the early stages of the second half, but he missed the target.
The pressure eventually paid off for the hosts as they took the lead through substitute Kevin Kuranyi, who slotted the ball into the net with his first touch.
Mathieu Valbuena and William Vainqueur also played a role in the build-up to the goal as the Russian side kept up their 100% record.
Dynamo remain on top of Group E with nine points.
