Alfreton Town twice surrendered the lead before Daniel Bradley's late winner gave them a second consecutive win in the Conference Premier this evening, keeping alive their hopes of escaping the relegation zone.
Clifford Byrne put the home side ahead after just seven minutes, and it could have been two just minutes later when a Tom Davies header from a corner was cleared off the line by Jack Midson.
However, Eastleigh were level on 25 minutes when Jai Reason's deflected effort beat George Willis in the Alfreton goal.
On the stroke of half time, Midson sent an effort narrowly over the bar, before Tom Shaw's effort was well saved by Ross Flitney 10 minutes after the restart.
Alfreton were ahead again through Karl Hawley following some excellent work from Bradley on 78 minutes, but Eastleigh pegged them back again just two minutes later when substitute Craig McAllister levelled the tie with his first touch.
However, Bradley struck in the final minute to secure three precious points for Alfreton Town that keep up the pressure on Southport, who drew 1-1 with Gateshead.
