Eintracht Frankfurt and Werder Bremen have played out a goalless draw in their Bundesliga match this afternoon, with Felix Kroos seeing red for the visitors.
Joselu had the first chance for the home side but, after being played through by Alexander Meier, he poked his effort wide.
Meier was involved again midway through the first half, clipping a free kick around the wall which hit the post with Raphael Wolf beaten.
Bremen failed to create a clear-cut chance in the first half, and their task was made harder when Kroos brought down Sebastian Rode in the corner and was given a second yellow card.
The second half was a tight affair, but Takashi Inui did find Joselu at the far post. However, the striker was unable to turn it in.
Despite being down to 10 men, Bremen were defending well. Meier did have a decent opening for the hosts, although his curling effort went wide.
Wolf then had to be brave to deny Joselu from a fizzed cross. Frankfurt had one final chance to make the most of their numerical advantage, but Meier somehow headed wide from six yards out.
The Bremen goalkeeper then denied Stefan Aigner at the back post deep into injury time.
