England striker Wayne Rooney has revealed his pride at becoming the fifth-highest England goalscorer of all time.
Rooney's 30th and 31st England goals in the 5-0 win over San Marino moved him above Tom Finney, Nat Lofthouse and Alan Shearer, who each scored 30.
Rooney, who captained England on the night, said that he hopes to score many more for his country.
"Obviously it's a great honour for me - there are some great players up there," Rooney said.
"To be in England's top five goalscorers, I'm extremely proud. But I'm only 26 and I hope I can score a lot more."
Next in the list is Michael Owen, who has scored 40 goals for England.
