SBV Excelsior have secured Eredivisie football for another season after recording a 2-2 draw away at FC Utrecht in their clash at the Stadion Galgenwaard.
The first goal came the way of the hosts on the hour mark as Sebastian Haller broke the deadlock from the penalty spot.
Excelsior then rallied and found themselves leading their mid-table opponents with 10 minutes to go through a Tom van Weert brace.
Utrecht struck an equaliser with six minutes to go through Danny Verbeek, but despite dropping two late points, the visitors ended the game four points clear of 16th-placed NAC Breda with one game to go.
