Borussia Monchengladbach have defeated Fenerbahce 3-0 in Istanbul in their final Europa League Group C game.
The German club went ahead midway through the first half when Peniel Kokou Mlapa slipped a pass to Talgo Cigerci, who fired in from 18 yards.
Six minutes later Monchengladbach were awarded a penalty after Henri Bienvenu pulled down Granit Xhaka inside the Fenerbahce area.
Mike Hanke stepped up to take the spot kick and made no mistake from 12 yards.
Monchengladbach wrapped up the victory 11 minutes from the full-time whistle, courtesy of a Luuk de Jong shot from close range.
Fenerbahce and Monchengladbach both qualify for the round of 32, with the Turkish giants progressing as group winners.
