Genoa full-back Luca Antonini has insisted that he does not regret leaving AC Milan, even though he enjoyed his time at the San Siro club.
Antonini said that leaving Milan was a decision he had to make in order to play more first-team football, which he has had at his new side.
"There was less and less space for me at Milan," Calcissimo quotes him as saying. "I wanted to play with more regularity and Genoa seemed like the right opportunity.
"Regrets? I would have liked to stay with the Rossoneri to help them win their second star, but separations happen in life. I had some very satisfying moments at Milan."
Antonini played 81 times in Serie A for Milan across his five seasons at the club.
