Genoa coach Gian Piero Gasperini has decided to stick with his tried and tested 3-4-3 formation for this afternoon's Serie A clash with Chievo Verona.
Gasperini's first home game back in charge at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris sees Argentine winger Ricardo Centurion get a chance to impress, playing alongside Alberto Gilardino and Mario Santana in attack.
Centurion's inclusion means that there is no place for Juraj Kucka, while Luca Antonini switches to central defence to accommodate a three-man backline.
Chievo are forced to use Brazilian defender Claiton from the start today by a string of injury problems, while veteran striker Sergio Pellissier is preferred to Alberto Paloschi in attack.
Genoa: Perin; Antonini, Portanova, Manfredini; Vrsaljko, Biondini, Lodi, Marchese; Santana, Gilardino, Centurion.
Chievo: Puggioni; Sardo, Claiton, Cesar, Frey; Bentivoglio, Rigoni, Radovanovic, ; Estigarribia, Pellissier, Thereau
