Hibernian manager Pat Fenlon has expressed his delight for the club's fans following Sunday's 1-0 win against Hearts in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup.
David Wotherspoon's late strike at Easter Road gave Hibs a first win over their local rivals in 12 matches.
"There wasn't loads of football played in the game but I'm delighted for the supporters," Fenlon told Sky Sports News. "They're the people that deserve it today.
"They can go away with their heads held high. They've been down in the doldrums for too long, to be honest, and that was for them."
Sunday's match between the two sides was a repeat of last season's final, which Hearts won 5-1.
