Huddersfield Town striker Danny Ward has revealed that he is eager to earn a new contract with the club.
The 23-year-old is entering the final 12 months of his current deal with the Championship side after they took up the option of an extension.
However, Ward is confident that he will be offered fresh terms if he proves his worth during the 2014-15 campaign.
"I definitely want to get something sorted out," he told the Huddersfield Examiner. "The aim is to work hard, get straight into the season, stay fit and show I deserve to be involved here."
Ward, who joined Huddersfield four years ago, scored 10 goals in 40 games last season.
