Hull City midfielder Robert Snodgrass has apologised for diving during his side's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace today.
The Scotland international went down under the challenge of Scott Dann in the first half to win the spot kick, which he converted himself, although replays showed that there was no contact from the Palace defender.
Hull went on to share the spoils in a 3-3 thriller, and Snodgrass admitted after the match that it was "never a penalty".
The draw leaves Hull 19th in the table, now only in the relegation zone on goal difference.
