Hull City have continued their productive January transfer window with the signing of Trabzonspor midfielder Abdulkadir Omur.
Liam Rosenior has already been able to add the likes of Ryan Giles, Fabio Carvalho and Billy Sharp to his squad since the turn of the year.
The Tigers are also allegedly challenging for the signature of Aston Villa defender Calum Chambers, but Omur is next through the door at the MKM Stadium.
Omur has been regarded as one of Trabzonspor's best players for a number of seasons, including a time when they won the Super Lig title in 2019-20.
Although the Black Sea Storm have since dropped down the pecking order in Turkish football, they currently sit in third position in the standings.
A total of six assists having been contributed by the Turkey international from 15 appearances, but Trabzonspor have agreed to part ways with the playmaker for an undisclosed fee.
Speaking to the club's official website, Rosenior said: "I first came across Abduş when we played Trabzonspor in a friendly in Antalya and we recognised straight away what a good player he is.
"When we were alerted to the fact he could be available, we felt it was a wonderful opportunity to bring someone with real quality into our team. He had a massive part in winning the Turkish Super Lig and has played for the national team.
"The fans will love watching him; he's someone who can unlock the door, create and score goals, and has a great final pass and shot.
"He's an outstanding technical footballer who can go past players, has a low centre of gravity and works hard out of possession. I love his football personality."
Omur leaves Trabzonspor having contributed 25 goals and 36 assists from his 211 appearances in all competitions.
