Having gone seven games without a victory, Inter Miami await the challenge of CF Montreal in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday.
On the other hand, the away side are looking to return to winning ways after suffering consecutive defeats in their last two outings.
Match preview
Inter Miami picked up their first point in over two months courtesy of a 1-1 draw versus Philadelphia Union on Monday.
Phil Neville's men were seemingly on their way to all three points when Robbie Robinson broke the deadlock in the 71st minute, only for Kacper Przybylko to restore parity 14 minutes later.
Nonetheless, it was a more than welcome point for the Herons, who put an end to a six-game losing streak as a result of which they are currently rooted to the bottom of the MLS table.
They now prepare for the visit of a Montreal side who have come out on top in each of the three previous encounters between the sides.
Saturday's hosts have scored the fewest goals of any team in the division and will need to up the ante in the final third to stand any chance of coming out on top.
CF Montreal were beaten for the second time in three days following a 2-1 defeat to New England Revolution at the Gillette Stadium on Sunday.
Gustavo Bou scored in both halves to put the league leaders in the driving seat, before Djordje Mihailovic pulled one back for his side with 11 minutes of normal time to play.
Since their last triumph, Wilfried Nancy's men have dropped three places down to seventh on the log, with a couple of teams beginning to bear down on them.
Luckily for Sunday's visitors, they are still hanging on to the last playoff spot, but a turnaround is needed to get their season back on track.

Team News
Kelvin Leerdam is back from international duty and was a second-half substitute against Philadelphia Union, but he could be named in the starting XI for this one.
Ian Fray and Jones Joevin are sidelined with muscle and hamstring injuries respectively and will both sit out the fixture.
Clement Diop is ruled out for the away side due to a thigh injury, while Ballou Tabla continues to battle with a groin problem.
Mathieu Choiniere scored the winner in the last meeting between Sunday's opponents, and he will be looking to come up trumps for his side once again.
Inter Miami possible starting lineup:
Marsman; Makoun, Figal, Shawcross, Pirez; Ulloa, Matuidi, Pizarro; Robinson, Morgan, Higuain
CF Montreal possible starting lineup:
Pantemis; Bassong, Camacho, Waterman; Lappalainen, Maciel, Wanyama, Choiniere; Mihailovic, Torres, Toye
We say: Inter Miami 1-1 CF Montreal
Inter Miami will be looking to push on from Monday's draw by claiming all three points in this one, while the visitors have some soul-searching to do following their recent slump in form. We anticipate a nervy encounter, with both sides settling for a point apiece in the end.
