Inter Milan manager Andrea Stramaccioni has decided to continue Wesley Sneijder's spell on the sidelines for tomorrow night's Europa League clash against Neftchi Baku.
Sneijder has not played for Inter since September as speculation rumbles on about the Dutch international's future at the San Siro.
Stramaccioni has insisted that Sneijder's omission has nothing to do with a contract dispute and the decision is his own.
He told reporters: "All decisions concerning him and the other players are taken by me.
"Whether or not he plays is the coach's decision and I am fully responsible for that decision. Sneijder is in great form. He is training well like all his teammates. What would Massimo Moratti say if I picked him for tomorrow's match? He would accept my decision.
"Those of you who are not part of the team are looking for something that doesn't exist. It is a very simple matter: I decide whether or not he plays in line with my ideas."
Inter have already secured qualification for the Europa League knockout stages and currently sit third in Serie A.
