Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini has downplayed the significance of Virgil van Dijk's dismissal during his side's 1-0 victory over Celtic.
The Hoops played much of the second leg of the Europa League last-32 tie with 10 men, but the Italian believes that his team would have prevailed regardless.
"It made our life easier but we had the chances to score before that," Mancini told reporters. "We managed the game in the right way."
Inter edged the tie 4-3 on aggregate after Freddy Guarin's late strike saw them win the second leg.
