Inter Milan midfielder Fredy Guarin has insisted that his side are not afraid of AC Milan, ahead of Sunday night's derby.
Milan are currently unbeaten in 2013 and buoyed by their 2-0 victory over Barcelona in the Champions League.
However, despite the impressive form of Milan, Guarin has claimed that it means nothing in a derby game.
"We are not afraid of Milan, even if they played very well against the best team in the world," the Colombia international told La Stampa.
"Serie A is different to the Champions League, plus when it's the derby; anything can happen. We are footballers and know how certain things work. Predictions are pointless and above all do not affect us.
"We all have to give something more with Diego Milito's absence, as he is also crucial on a tactical level. I don't mind who scores as long as the team wins. Having said that, of course I'd love to net in the derby."
Guarin moved to the San Siro from Porto in 2012.
