Inter Milan forward Mauro Icardi has revealed that he is "calm" as contract discussions continue with his Italian club.
The Argentine international, who was strongly linked with a move away from San Siro in the summer, scored twice in Inter's 2-1 win over Pescara on Sunday night.
In total, the 23-year-old has netted 55 times in 108 appearances for the Italian giants, and he insists that "everything is okay" regarding the renewal talks as he prepares to pen a new long-term contract.
"The renewal? I've spoken with the club," he told Mediaset Premium. "Everything is okay and I'm calm."
It is understood that Arsenal and Napoli both wanted to sign the former Sampdoria forward during the summer transfer window.
