Wolverhampton Wanderers make 10 changes for Tuesday's EFL Cup third-round encounter against Ipswich Town at Portman Road.

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Gary O'Neil has made a total of 10 changes for Tuesday's EFL Cup third-round tie at Ipswich Town.

With the fixture at Portman Road taking just three days since a 1-1 draw at Luton Town and four days ahead of hosting Premier League champions Manchester City, O'Neil has opted to swap each of the last starting lineup aside from Hwang Hee-chan, who played just 45 minutes at Kenilworth Road.

Santiago Bueno is handed his debut in the centre of defence and Tommy Doyle makes his first start for the club in midfield.

Second-choice goalkeeper Daniel Bentley captains the team, while Matt Doherty is in line to be deployed on the right-hand side of a back three.

Sasa Kalajdzic is handed a start in attack, Boubacar Traore makes a rare appearance in midfield and Pablo Sarabia is in line to feature in a creative role behind the front two.

Another new arrival in Enso Gonzalez is selected among the replacements, as is Joe Hodge, who has recently recovered from a hamstring injury, and Nathan Fraser who impressed in the previous round against Blackpool.

Meanwhile, after a seventh Championship win from eight games was recorded against Blackburn Rovers last weekend, Ipswich boss Kieran McKenna has changed his entire first XI.

Ipswich Town: Hladky; Ball, Edmundson, Baggott, Williams, Evans, Taylor, Jackson, Harness, Hutchinson, Ladapo

Subs: Slicker, Donacien, Woolfenden, Humphreys, Burns, Luongo, Aluko, Chaplin, Hirst

Wolverhampton Wanderers: Bentley; Doherty, S. Bueno, Toti; Jonny, Doyle, Traore, H. Bueno; Sarabia; Hwang, Kalajdzic
