Good evening everyone! What a game we have in prospect, as two of Italy's biggest clubs go head-to-head in the final of the Coppa Italia. The favourites to lift the trophy are Juventus, who can win the second part of a potential treble, but they will surely not have it all their own way against Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico this evening.

There isn't much left to be said about Juventus, who have enjoyed another brilliant campaign and have recently wrapped up a fourth straight Serie A title. As well as tonight's match, they still have a Champions League final against Barcelona to come so a truly historic end to the season is well within their grasp.

Hoping to dent the Bianconeri's hopes of a clean sweep of trophies are Lazio, who really have exceeded expectations this season. They are currently third in Serie A and on course to qualify for the Champions League for the first time in seven years, which is some achievement given that they finished last year out of the European places all together.

There's still plenty more to discuss between now and kick off, but it's time to check out the team news and see which players will be starting when the action gets underway in Rome.

So, that's how each team will be starting this evening. The big news for Juventus is that Marco Storari keeps his place in goal, with Gianluigi Buffon named on the bench. There are no surprises elsewhere in the team, but Claudio Marchisio and Alvaro Morata are both suspended for tonight's match.

Meanwhile, Lazio have to make do without Lucas Biglia, who has failed to recover from a knee injury in time. However, Stefan de Vrij is fit enough to start, while Antonio Candreva, Felipe Anderson and Miroslav Klose will link up in the attack. Senad Lulic, who scored the winning goal for Lazio two years ago in the final against Roma, is also handed a start.

Let's get back to our build up for tonight's match by taking a close look at each side, beginning with Juventus. The Bianconeri have been unstoppable in Serie A this season and they have comfortably romped their way to a fourth straight Scudetto. A huge gap of 16 points over second-placed Roma in the table shows their dominance and you just wonder who will be able to stop them next time around.

It's not just in the league where they have flourished, as they have stunned a lot of people by reaching the Champions League final. For so long they have struggled in Europe, but they will now have the chance to lift the trophy for the first time in 20 years when they play Barcelona next month.

There have been some disappointments this season, like their Super Cup defeat on penalties to Napoli and the Coppa Italia looked like being another trophy to elude them. In their semi-final against Fiorentina they had lost 2-1 at home in the first leg, but they came roaring back in the return meeting to claim a 3-0 win and book their place here in Rome tonight.

When you look at the team that is playing tonight, then it really is no wonder they have achieved so much success. From Giorgio Chiellini at the back to 29 goal top-scorer Carlos Tevez, there is quality throughout the spine of the team and with Paul Pogba also back from injury, Massimiliano Allegri has more or less a fully fit squad in these vital final weeks of the season.

With the amount of attention that Juventus have been receiving, it is easy to forget that there have been a few other success stories in Italian football this season, with Lazio enjoying a particularly impressive campaign. They weren't tipped by many to finish in the Champions League places and a shaky start to the season saw them lose three out of their four opening matches.

However, they gradually found their feet under Stefano Pioli and an eight-game winning run throughout February and April has pushed them to the verge of a top-three finish. Their form has dipped slightly since that run, with only two wins from their previous six games and they do have a tricky end to the season, with city-rivals Roma to face next Monday, before a final day clash against Napoli, which could end up as a straight shootout for third place.

Their fine league form has coincided with this great run to the cup final, which all started back in August with a thumping 7-0 win over Bassano Virtus, before another simple 3-0 victory over Varese. They then came through away clashes against Torino and AC Milan, before facing Napoli in the semi-finals. The first leg finished in a 1-1 draw, before Senad Lulic's late goal in Naples earned a 1-0 victory to set up this finale on their home ground.

There have been many star performers for Lazio, but none have made quite as much impact as Felipe Anderson. The Brazilian struggled in his first season at the club, but this year he has come to life and has scored 10 league goals, which has seen him linked with a big money switch in the summer. Antonio Candreva and Miroslav Klose have also weighed in with their fair share of goals and Stefan de Vrij has been a rock at the back since his move from Feyenoord.

It just so happens that these teams met a month ago in Turin and on that occasion Juventus claimed a 2-0 victory to end Lazio's winning streak. Carlos Tevez and Leonardo Bonucci scored the goals, with Danilo Cataldi seeing red for the visitors, in what was a pretty comfortable win for Juve.

That wasn't the only win for Juventus against the Biancocelesti this season, as they romped to a 3-0 victory at the Olimpico last November. Those two results have extended the Bianconeri's unbeaten run against Lazio to six games and they have only lost one of the previous 16 meetings between the two teams. There has also been a red card shown in each of their last four clashes, so we could be seeing some more fireworks this evening.

PREDICTION: Right, with kick off fast approaching it's time for a quick prediction. Juventus have been in great form and they have produced some of their best displays in the biggest matches, as shown by their recent performances against Real Madrid. Meanwhile, Lazio have suffered a slight dip in the past month, but they will be boosted by playing at their home ground. I'm expecting a tight contest and I would not be surprised if it went to extra time, but I'm going to go for a 2-1 win for Juventus, which will keep alive their treble hopes.

The atmosphere is electric in Rome with just minutes left until kick off. The players have also emerged from their dressing rooms and have been given a rapturous reception from the crowd.

We've just heard the national anthem from Chiara Galiazzo, who won the Italian version of X Factor in 2012. It's almost time for the big kick off now and we really could be in for something special tonight.

KICKOFF! We are underway at the Stadio Olimpico!

What a great start to the match for Lazio, who have taken the lead inside of four minutes. It's Radu who finds the net, as he meets Cataldi's free kick before powering an effort into top corner. Storari got a hand to the ball, but there was enough power on it to beat the stand-in keeper.

Juventus are on the attack as they look for a quick response and they do have plenty of time to find the back of the net. They won't be too worried just yet, but it really has been a brilliant opening for Lazio and their fans are in full voice.

I said we could be in for a special night and it has certainly lived up to its billing so far, as Juventus quickly draw level! The goal comes from another set piece, as Pirlo delivers a great kick that is headed back into the middle by Evra and turned into the net by Chiellini.

You've got to hand to to Juventus, who have shown their quality to hit back quickly after conceding so early on. It's also interesting that both goals came from set pieces, with not much created from open play by either team so far.

YELLOW CARD! Parolo picks up the first booking of the match for a late challenge on Vidal.

Juventus are dominating the possession at the moment and have just started to take control of the match. Pirlo is also getting on the ball more often and Lazio will know how much of a danger he can be if he is awarded too much time and space.

We're still yet to see the attacking players of each side cause any problems and all the keepers have had to do so far is pick the ball out of the net. There are just glimpses of a threat, with Tevez and Llorente starting to get involved a lot more.

First chance for Llorente to threaten this evening as he is picked out by Evra's cross from the left. He gets above his man and powers in a header, but he gets underneath the ball and ends up directing it well over the bar.

Down the other end of the pitch Anderson has a glimpse of goal for Lazio after working some room just outside the box. The Brazilian then fires in a strike, but hammers it disappointingly over the bar.

Lazio have put in a quite a few strong challenges already and Cataldi is lucky to not pick up a booking for a foul on Barzagli. It gives Juventus a free kick in a similar position to where they scored from, but this time Pirlo's free kick is headed over the bar by Evra.

SHOT! Decent chance for Lazio, as Pogba gives the ball away poorly and allows Parolo the chance to shoot. The Lazio man then drills in a strike, but his effort flashes inches wide of the post.

With both teams looking evenly matched on the pitch, it seems likely that the next goal could come again from a set piece. Lazio have done well to mirror the same formation that Juventus have used so successfully, despite usually lining up very differently.

Good pressure now from Juventus, who are pushing Lazio deeper inside their own half. Pirlo is on the ball and almost able to work his magic, as he tries to thread a pass through to Lichtsteiner, but there was slightly too much on it and Berisha is able to come and claim.

Another decent move from Juventus sees Evra freed down the left, before pulling it back to Tevez, who ends up blazing the ball over the bar. The Argentine's blushes were spared though, as Evra was offside in the build up.

Lazio almost fall behind at the end of the half thanks to a howler from their keeper. The ball is played back to Berisha and he should just clear it, but he takes his time and allows Tevez to close him down. By the time he does clear, he ends up kicking it against Tevez, but fortunately for his side the ball rebounds to safety instead of into the back of the net.

No stoppage time is added on to the end of the first half, with the teams heading into the dressing rooms on level terms. Stefan Radu had given Lazio an early lead, but Giorgio Chiellini's fine finish quickly drew Juventus level and has kept alive their treble chances.

It's been an even half of football, with Juventus slightly edging their opponents in terms of the possession stats, with 55% of the ball. The Bianconeri have also had six shots on goal, compared to five from Lazio, but in reality the keepers have not been overly tested.

Lazio must be frustrated at conceding so soon after taking the lead, but it was another example of the resilience that Juventus have shown throughout the season. It really is all set up to be a mouthwatering second half and remember that if it ends level, we will be heading towards extra time.

I'm sure that Stefan Radu and Giorgio Chiellini would not have sprung to mind when talking about goalscorers this evening, but the likes of Carlos Tevez and Miroslav Klose haven't had too many opportunities to show their class, with the defences well on top.

Juventus take the kick off and get the second half started!

Promising signs in the opening minutes of the half for Lazio, with Radu breaking free down the left and delivering a low ball that required a smart clearance from Chiellini. They then win a free kick around 30 yards out from goal, but Candreva hammers his strike into the wall.

At the other end of the pitch Juventus break with Llorente freed by Tevez. He has a lot of work to do, but manages to drive to the byline before pulling the ball across the box. However, Lazio manage to get enough players back and cut out the danger.

Juventus are getting into some very promising areas now and the game is getting a little stretched. On this occasion they break with Tevez leading the charge, before he plays it wide to Pogba. The Frenchman then tries to whip in a low cross, which is blocked behind for a corner that the hosts easily clear.

CHANCE! Pogba is involved again as he is picked out at the back post, but the midfielder is unable to keep his header down it drifts wide of the post. He has made the difference on so many occasions this season and scored twice at his ground last November.

YELLOW CARD! Evra is the first Juventus player to be shown a card for a foul on Parolo. It was slightly harsh, as he seemed to be falling over as he made contact with the midfielder.

YELLOW CARD! It's another booking for Juventus, with Bonucci rightly shown a card for barging Candreva off the ball.

Lazio have had some free kicks in some dangerous areas, but aside from their opening goal, they have not been able to make them count. This time Gentiletti takes a free kick from just outside the box, but it doesn't come close to troubling the keeper and heads well over the top.

There is a real lack of quality in both team's finishing this evening and Parolo drags another poor effort well wide of the target for Lazio. It's such a disappointment given the quality that is out there on the pitch.

SUBSTITUTION: Lazio are forced into a change, as goalscorer Radu can't continue, with Mauricio coming on to replace him.

The hosts are enjoying a decent spell in the game and are seeing plenty of the ball inside their opponents' half. They are still finding it hard to get in behind, with Anderson and Candreva both struggling to create their usual impact so far.

Juventus still look dangerous whenever they come forward and they manage to find Llorente just inside the box. The Spaniard tries to work some space to shoot, but he is quickly crowded out and Lazio clear their lines once again.

SUBSTITUTION: First change of the match for Juventus, with Pogba heading off to be replaced by Pereyra.

We're into the final 10 minutes now and we are still no closer to a winner. Extra time is starting to look like a real possibility and that probably won't suit Lazio, who of course play Roma in their next match.

SUBSTITUTION: Lazio make their second change of the evening with Djordjevic coming on for Klose.

CHANCE! Djordjevic has been on for less than a minute, but he has a massive chance to win the game for Lazio. He latches onto a ball over the top that catches out the Juventus defence, but he can only poke a weak effort straight at Storari, who spread himself well to make the save.

SUBSTITUTION: It's a change for Juventus now, as Matri replaces Llorente.

GOAL DISALLOWED! This is a controversial moment in the game as Juventus have a goal ruled out just minutes from the end. Pirlo is the creator with a wonderful ball over the top that is guided into the corner by Matri, but the striker was adjudged to have been standing in an offside position. However, a look at the replay shows that he was probably in line and that he is right to complain.

We are going to have three minutes of stoppage time for someone to find a winner, otherwise we will have another 30 minutes of action.

SHOT! Tevez hasn't had too many chances this evening, but the Argentine shows his threat when he cuts in from the left and drives towards the box. He then works some room and unleashes a powerful strike, but it ends up heading a few inches over the bar.

So, the two teams have not been able to be separated inside of 90 minutes, which means that we will now head to extra time. It was a tightly-contested second half, which chances few and far between, although Juventus will argue that Alessandro Matri was not offside when he found the net late on.

We are back underway in Rome!

We have just had a short stoppage in play while Basta receives some treatment from the medical staff, but he is back up on his feet now and looks fine to continue. No chances yet though for either side in these early stages of extra time.

OFF THE POST! What a stunning goal this would have been by Parolo. The Lazio midfielder crashed in a low strike from 25 yards that beat Storari and hit both posts, before it was scrambled clear by the Juventus defence.

Half chance for Matri down the other end of the pitch, as he races into the box to meet Tevez's cross, before powering a header wide. He thought that the defender got the final touch, but the referee decided against giving a corner.

Having almost conceded just moments ago, Juventus have taken the lead for the first time this evening. A long ball forward causes plenty of problems for the Lazio defence and when Tevez sees his initial effort blocked, Matri is in quickly to slot the rebound past Berisha.

I wonder what kind of response we will see from Lazio now, who are behind for the first time in the match. They have got around 20 minutes to rescue a penalty shootout, but it is going to be incredibly hard against this Juventus side.

Good possession play from Juventus at the moment, who are keeping the ball well and making Lazio work hard to win it back. They have plenty of experience seeing out games with a one-goal lead and with the experienced players they have on the pitch, they are well placed to do it again this evening.

Matri has made a great impact since coming on and he does well to eat up a bit of time down the left flank. It is worth remembering that he probably would not have been playing if Morata had been available.

We've reached the halfway stage of extra time and as things stand, Alessandro Matri's goal will give Juventus their first Coppa Italia in 20 years. He only returned to the club on loan in January and many even questioned why he was brought back, but those people are surely not complaining now!

The second half of extra time is now underway.

SUBSTITUTION: I can tell you that Lazio have made their final change of the match, with Keita on for De Vrij.

YELLOW CARD! Candreva is the second Lazio player to be shown a card for a foul on Tevez just outside the box.

CHANCE! From the resulting free kick Pirlo chooses to shoot instead of whip in the set piece and he fires an effort towards the near post that is punched away by Berisha.

Fantastic work by Tevez, who steals possession in the midfield before charging down the right flank. He is then crowded out by three Lazio players, before he is finally tacken out by Lulic.

Lazio are throwing everything they have at Juventus, but their opponents are holding firm and clearing every delivery into their box. It's going to take something special from them now to find the net and there are just five minutes left for them to find a goal.

SUBSTITUTION: Final sub for Juventus, with Padoin coming on for Lichtsteiner.

SHOT! Keita bursts into life and he drives past a couple of challenges and into the box before firing in a low drive. His shot ends up taking a slight deflection though which takes it away from goal and out for a corner. However, Lazio can't make anything of the resulting set piece, as the referee blows for a foul inside the middle.

SHOT! Juventus still look capable of grabbing a third goal and Pereyra has a chance with a strike from the edge of the box. His effort is poor though and goes wide of the far post, but it eats up more vital seconds on the clock.

There will be just one minute added on to the end of extra time.

It's all over at the Stadio Olimpico and Juventus have claimed their first Coppa Italia trophy in 20 years! Alessandro Matri's winner in extra time means that they have completed the domestic double and the treble is now very much within their sights!

Massimiliano Allegri and his players are celebrating on the pitch, with their supporters making all of the noise now in the stands. It is another wonderful night for them, but credit must go to Lazio, who pushed them all the way and certainly had their chances to win tonights match.
