Lowly Livorno were breached twice in quick succession by Juventus's Fernando Llorente before the break in this evening's Serie A match in Turin.
Hosts Juventus dominated the ball in the opening 45 and almost went ahead inside 10 minutes when Carlos Tevez's shot was kept out by Francesco Bardi.
They broke the deadlock soon after the half-hour mark when Spanish forward Llorente finished with aplomb after a pass from strike partner Tevez.
It took just two more minutes for Llorente to double the lead, this time using his head to power home Andrea Pirlo's corner.
As things stand, Juve are going eight points clear of Roma at the top of the table.
