Giorgio Chiellini has said that Juventus were satisfied with their goalless draw at Udinese last night.
With neither side able to break the deadlock at the Stadio Friuli, the Turin outfit slipped to second place in Serie A. However, Chiellini, who believes that few teams will leave Udinese with a point, insists that it was a positive result.
"We came here to win and we tried to do so," he told the club's official website. "We didn't manage it, as we often lacked the final touch, but we're still satisfied.
"It's been another display of strength. I believe that few teams will come [to Udinese] and play a game like this.
"It gives us pleasure to end 2011 at the top of the table, even if we would have preferred to be up there on our own. AC Milan remain favourites, but there are many sides in the running."
Following the winter break, Juventus return to action in 2012 with a trip to Lecce.
