A victory over Sassuolo on Monday could give Juventus an 11-point lead at the top of the Serie A table.
Massimiliano Allegri's side have been in fine form in the top flight having suffered just one defeat in 25 games, but they head into this fixture on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Fiorentina in the first leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final in midweek.
With a Champions League last-16 second leg against Borussia Dortmund coming up on March 18 and already a steady lead at the top of the Serie A standings, Juve could take their foot off the gas against Sassuolo, who reside 12th in the table.
Eusebio di Francesco has not witnessed his side win since the start of February when they secured a 3-1 triumph over Inter Milan.
Since then the team, who have grabbed just six wins all season, have drawn to Sampdoria and suffered defeats to Fiorentina, Napoli and Lazio, in which period they conceded nine goals overall.
Despite their results so far in the campaign, they can be buoyed by how they ended Juventus's winning run back in October by holding them to a 1-1 draw at the Mapei Stadium.
With regards to team selection, Juventus have a number of players on the treatment table - Andrea Pirlo, Kwadwo Asamoah, Romulo and Luca Marrone will all miss the match, but Carlos Tevez is expected to be given the nod up front.
The Argentine has scored nine goals in his last 11 matches in all competitions, which has pushed his tally up to 21 so far this season, and he is expected to be joined by Alvaro Morata up front.
For the visitors, Davide Biondini is expected to move into a full-back position from midfield in order to cover Sassuolo's injury woes, while Domenico Berardi is likely to play on the right side of attack.
