Lazio and Inter Milan have played out a goalless first half in tonight's Serie A encounter at the Stadio Olimpico.
A mix-up in the Inter defence almost gifted the hosts the lead with just 11 minutes on the clock, but Senad Lulic's lob over Samir Handanovic went inches wide of the goal.
Lazio continued to create the better chances as the half went on and could have gone ahead in the 25th minute when Miroslav Klose's near-post effort was kept out by Handanovic.
Handanovic was called into action again 10 minutes before the break when he was forced to push away Antonio Candreva's fierce drive.
Despite their dominance, the home side were unable to break the deadlock during the opening 45 minutes.
