Lazio have bounced back from defeat on the opening day of the season to record a 3-0 win over Cesena in their Serie A match this afternoon.
Antonio Candreva had the first attempt on goal for the hosts, but he saw his long-range free kick tipped over the bar by Nicola Leali.
It was the Italian international who gave his side the lead in the 19th minute, when he was picked out at the back post by Edson Braafheid to fire a volley under the legs of the keeper.
Candreva was proving to be Lazio's biggest threat and he saw a headed effort on the half-hour mark go just over the bar.
The hosts were able to double their lead in the 56th minute as Marco Parolo headed Candreva's cross into the far corner past Leali.
In the final minute, Stefano Mauri scored Lazio's third of the afternoon when he swept in from Miroslav Klose's pass to seal a comfortable win.
