Everton, Leicester City and Southampton are poised to face competition from Serie A outfit Lazio in the race to sign Besiktas midfielder Veli Kavlak, according to reports.
The 26-year-old joined the Turkish giants from Rapid Vienna in 2011 for around £600,000, and has since recorded eight goals and 11 assists in 128 appearances.
According to the Corriere Dello Sport, Lazio are said to have profiled Kavlak as an ideal signing in the centre of their midfield.
Besiktas could be forced to sell Kavlak - whose contract runs out at the end of the season - in the New Year rather than risk losing him for nothing.
