Leeds United and Blackpool have ended the first half goalless in tonight's Championship encounter at Elland Road.
Steve Morison and Ross McCormack both had early opportunities for the hosts, but they were each denied by Matt Gilks.
Leeds goalkeeper Paddy Kenny was then called into action at the other end as he kept out Matty Phillips's effort.
The home side enjoyed the better possession during the opening 45 minutes and they had another attempt on goal midway through the half when McCormack's dipping shot went wide of the post.
However, Blackpool soon grew in confidence as Ludo Sylvestre's fizzing effort was kept out of the top corner by Kenny.
Luke Varney had a late opening for Leeds, but he could only blaze his header over the crossbar.
