Lee Peltier's first goal for Leeds United has given his side a 1-0 lead over Blackpool at half time in this evening's Championship clash at Bloomfield Road.
Peltier, making his 67th first-team appearance for Leeds, headed home at the far post on 25 minutes following a deep cross from fellow wing-back Danny Pugh.
Aside from Peltier's goal, neither side has yet registered a shot on target.
Kirk Broadfoot really should have tested Leeds goalkeeper Paddy Kenny just after the half hour, but he headed over the crossbar from close range.
At the other end, Ross McCormack had the chance to double Leeds's advantage, however he was denied by a last-ditch tackle from Barry Ferguson.
