Sylvain Marveaux, Yoan Gouffran and Sammy Ameobi will operate in advanced positions, while Cheick Tiote and Vurnon Anita start alongside one another in midfield.
Also on the sidelines is Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, with Mike Williamson coming into the centre of defence. Welsh Under-21 international Paul Dummet starts at left full-back.
Matt Smith starts up front for the visitors, partnered by Dominic Poleon, while 18-year-old Alex Mowatt comes into the midfield.
