Lewis Cook has insisted that he was not fazed by the speculation that he would move away from Leeds United during the winter transfer window.
The 18-year-old was linked with a number of Premier League clubs, but a move never materialised and he will now remain at Elland Road until at least the summer.
However, Cook has stressed that he never had any plans to depart the club he joined in 2004.
"Some people make that choice to move and it doesn't always work out for them. At the moment I feel like I'm enjoying my football," he told the Championship club's official website.
"Leeds are a big club as it is. I love playing for Leeds at the moment. Maybe for some people the speculation might be a bit disruptive but not really for me. I just focus on my game and playing for Leeds - that's it."
Cook has scored one goal from his 29 appearances in all competitions this season.
